Galerie de Bisschop

Galerie de Bisschop is located among the beautiful meadows in the outskirts of the picturesque town of Hummelo. One of the buildings on the grounds of the former farm “De Bisschop” has been stylishly converted into an art gallery.

Here, Mariëtte Schouten manufactures bronze sculptures.  She gets her inspiration from birds and farm animals, but she is also interested in native and exotic animals.  In the gallery, you will be welcomed by the artist herself. She can explain the process “from clay to bronze” on request.

Along with the ongoing exhibition of her own work, Mariëtte organises temporary exhibitions of paintings by fellow artists several times a year.
